After a long but uneventful journey through France, Belgium and finally Germany we arrived at 5pm in warm and sunny Boppard.
We settled into our rooms then headed to the hotel restaurant for a lovely supper followed by a delicious slice of cake cleverly provided by Mr and Mrs Bennett for Maizie's birthday.
After a short stroll down to the Rhine there was just time to visit the school bank before a quick shower and bed.
